Undergraduate Programs

The undergraduate programmes of Lincoln University College inspire promising students to pursue careers in the pharmacy sector and provide encouragement during the application and admission process. We are successfully running the following courses under this faculty at present:

A. CONVENTIONAL

1. Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons.)

The Bachelor of Pharmacy program of Lincoln University College allows the students with the opportunity to acquire informative knowledge about the different aspects of design, development, discovery, testing as well as the helpful use of medicines and drugs. It also focuses on the aspect of distribution of drugs as well. Thus, this program is aptly suited for individuals, who are willing to work in the health care sector as health care providers or as providers of pharmaceutical care.

Duration: 48 Months

2. Diploma in Pharmacy

The profession of pharmacy plays a vital role in serving the health needs of the society. Pharmacists and pharmacist assistants are the most accessible members of the health care team for the public and are authorities on drugs and their use. They impart scientific knowledge related to the identification, formulation, preparation, standardization, quality control and use of drugs as well as medicines and effective management of their distribution and sale.

Duration: 36 Months

B. ODL

1. Diploma in Pharmacy

The program Diploma in Pharmacy is a field of study within the realm of Science that concentrates on the study of pharmaceutical chemistry, biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, physiology, dispensing etc. The course educates students in various phases of pharmacy and makes them qualified to take numerous duties in the pharmaceutical sector. The groundwork in pharmacy sciences provides as a foundation for the advancement of various clinical skills in the regions of pharmacy that are patient oriented.

Duration: 36 Months

Postgraduate Programs

Lincoln University College is committed to providing health practitioners, scientists, and other experts with postgraduate opportunities to pursue solutions to today’s healthcare challenges. At present, we are running the following courses efficiently under this faculty:

1. Master of Pharmacy (By Research)

The program offered by Lincoln University College provides the students a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects of pharmacy, so that they can learn about the use as well as the mechanism of the varied types of drugs. Students are also taught about the new and advanced methods necessary for the formulation of design and interpreting of investigations that are conducted. The aspect of interpreting of investigations related to pharmacy enhances the critical thinking ability of the students, so that they can contribute significantly to the field of pharmacy in the future.

For successful completion of master’s degree in LUC, each candidate should publish minimum of Two research articles in Scopus indexed journals, with Lincoln affiliation.

Minimum Duration: 24 Months
Maximum Duration: 60 Months

2. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmacy

The purpose of the Ph.D. program of Lincoln University College in Pharmacy is to prepare graduates to execute original, high-level research in the discipline specific to the graduate’s area of emphasis, especially in basic as well as applied research in drug delivery and targeting, utilizing medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, immunology, and molecular and cell biology. Graduates might be employed at leading research universities, in industry, government or in any research centric arena.

For successful completion of PhD degree in LUC, each candidate should publish minimum of Four research articles in Scopus indexed journals, with Lincoln affiliation.

Full Time Duration: 36 Months
Part Time Duration: 48 Months
